BAKERSFIELD, Calif - A Shafter man was killed and decapitated during a train involved accident Saturday afternoon, according to witnesses.
On March 9, at about 11:00 a.m., officials with the Bakersfield Police Department went to the intersections of Bakers and Jackson Streets regarding a train accident, involving a pedestrian.
The man, identified as 32-year-old Kenneth Roy Maynard, was struck by the train and pronounced dead at the scene.
