12-year-old shot on Martin Luther King Junior Boulevard

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - A 12-year-old is in stable condition after being shot Monday night.

At about 8:15 p.m. Monday, Bakersfield Police Department patrol officers were sent to the 600 block of Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard regarding a shooting.

Officers said they found a 12-year-old suffering from a gun-shot wound. 

The boy was taken to a local hospital for treatment and was last listed in stable condition.

The suspect/s were possibly occupying an older, mid-sized, dark colored truck.
