The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the community’s assistance in identifying two people wanted on charges of vehicle burglary, business burglary, unauthorized use of a credit card and identity theft.

Between Monday and Tuesday, officials said a woman's purse was stolen from her vehicle.

On Tuesday, at about 9 a.m., police officers said two people used the woman's credit card at the Chevron Gas Station and McDonald’s located at 13003 Rosedale Highway.

The two people then attempted to make a purchase at the Wal-Mart located at 8400 Rosedale Highway, officials said.

Officials said the people were seen in a white four door newer model, Toyota Camry.

Anyone with information regarding the identity of either suspect is encouraged to call the Bakersfield Police Department at 327-7111 or Detective Todd Brown at 326-3861.
