One man had a gun, the other man had a knife

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Bakersfield Police are searching for two armed men who may be committing a string of robberies.

Officials said two armed men took over the Carl's Jr., on Ming Avenue and Hughes Lane.

One of the men was armed with a gun, the other had a knife.

Police said the suspects hopped the counter and rounded up the employees before grabbing cash and taking off.

The robbers were covered from head to toe and the victims were not able to give police a good description of the suspects.

No one was injured.

Officers said those same suspects may be responsible for another late night robbery at a local 7-11 store.

At about 10:30 p.m., the 7-11 at 525 West Columbus Street was robbed, too.

We're told two men robbed the store at gunpoint and got away with an unknown amount of cash.

If you have any information on either robbery, you're urged to call the BPD.
