BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Two Bakersfield men have pled guilty to kidnapping and robbery of a postal employee in Taft.

Court documents said 42-year-old Raul Ojeda and 26-year-old Daniel Diaz admitted that in October 2009 they carried out a plan to kidnap and rob the driver of a postal service truck in Taft.

In those documents, Diaz said they told the postal employee to drive the truck to an abandoned hospital, where he took his keys to the truck and stole several mail bags containing cash and checks.

Diaz and Ojeda are set to be sentenced in February.

They face up to 25 years in federal prison.
