Drug substance found on scale, smoking pipe

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Officials conducting a probation search, found suspected methamphetamine sitting on a digital scale and a glass smoking pipe used to ingest methamphetamine in a residence on Thursday, Oct. 11. 

A four-year-old male and five-year-old female were taken into protective custody and transported to the Jameson Center by CPS. 

30-year-old Tiffany Lanquest was arrested for possession of suspected methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, being under the influence of a controlled substance, and child endangerment.

56-year-old Deborah Mulkey was arrested for being under the influence of a controlled substance and child endangerment. 

Lanquest and Mulkey were taken to the Central Receiving Facility and booked.
