2 wanted in Bakersfield for connection in local convenience store stabbing

Victim went to hospital for injuries

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - A man is wanted after he allegedly stabbed a person at a local convenience store last month.

On Jan. 1, at about 2 a.m., the Bakersfield Police Department said a man exchanged words with another man inside the AMPM store on California Avenue.

Officials said the two men, along with a man wanted for questioning, then exited the store and a fight began between the victim and suspect.

During the fight, the victim was stabbed multiple times, according to officials.  After the fight was broken up, officials said the three men left the area and the victim went to a local hospital for his injuries.

According to officials, the suspect is described as a Hispanic man between 23 to 26 years old. Officials said he has a shaved heard and a thin mustache.  He was last seen wearing a long black jacket, dark blue shirt, and dark jeans.

Officials said the third man wanted for questioning was last seen wearing a brown fluffy jacket with fur around the hood, a blue and white plaid button up shirt and dark jeans.
