BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Join 23 ABC, Azteca 42 and the U.S. Marines as we come together to bring the spirit of Christmas to the children of Kern County.

During the 2012 Toys for Tots Toy Drives, see below for a list of toy collection locations and dates. The Marines will be collecting new unwrapped toys for children up to 10 years of age or monetary donations.

The Toys For Tots serve families of Arvin, Bakersfield,  Frazier Park, Lamont, and Shafter.  If you reside in any of these cities you can contact your local Human Services Department, Kern County Schools-Health Department, or Local Family Resource Center for an application for this year’s program.  

Application information: Applications are not available at the Marine Corps Reserve Center.  APPLICATIONS CAN ONLY BE ENTERED BY  HUMAN SERVICES DEPARTMENT, KERN COUNTY SCHOOLS  OR HEALTH DEPARTMENT. ALL entries will have a SPECIAL CODE BY DEPARTMENT MAKING ENTRIES.  The 2012 Toys for Tots is now OPEN. Applications will be entered by social services. Kern school or Health department. We begin each year again the 1st of October.

Toys will only be available for those families who have signed up by the application due dates.
