The 21st annual Hot Rod Reunion is revving up out at the Auto Club Famoso Raceway this weekend.
From top fuel dragsters to nostalgia funny cars. More than 200 racers hit the track in qualifying and exhibition runs Saturday to determine the champion of the quarter mile.
Kern County’s event is one of the best national reunions and this weekend thousands of spectators gathered from across the country and around the world to see the classic hot rods lining Famoso Grove.
The reunion and races continue though Sunday with the best of the best hitting the track for the final eliminations. Gates open at 8 a.m. and tickets are $25 for adults. Kids under 15 get in free with an adult and military members get in free with an ID.
