BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Officials have released the name of the woman killed in a crash Saturday afternoon.
An SUV carrying 6 people rolled several times after the driver ran through a stop sign killing one of the passengers.
At about 2:45 p.m. Saturday, Carlos Kelwis Matos was driving a 2013 GMC Yukon XL westbound on McCombs Avenue when he ran a stop sign, California Highway Patrol officials said.
Officers said Fulgencio Calvo was driving a Chevrolet Silverado and drove into the Yukon, officials said.
The Yukon rolled several times, ejecting a passenger who was not wearing a seatbelt.
The passenger, 32-year-old Jaqueline Lopes Marques was taken to Kern Medical Center where she later died.
Officials said alcohol and drugs do not appear to be a factor in the crash.
