3 people shot during a northeast Bakersfield house party

2 injured victims found several streets away

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - A large party was found by Kern County Sheriffs deputies after they said they received a call that gun shots were fired. 

On Saturday around 2 a.m., sheriff's deputies said they arrived at a house party in the 400 block of Columbus Street. 

Deputies said they found evidence that at least one gun had been shot several times. 

During the search deputies said they found two victims several streets away from Columbus street. One was shot in the stomach, and the other was shot in the arm.

Officials said they were taken to a hospital nearby. 

During the search officials said the Bakersfield Police Department got a call from a hospital that another male victim was shot. 

The third victim did not tell officials the location where he was shot, but officials say he was later identified as a relative of one of the other victims from Columbus street. 

Officials said that none of the injuries are life threatening. 

The investigation is ongoing but officials asks if anyone has any information to contact the Kern County Sheriff's Office at 661-322-4040
