4 suspects were arrested for Panama Street shooting

Suspects face several charges

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Police have arrested four people wanted in connection with the death of 23-year-old Christopher Gonzales who was fatally shot on Wednesday morning in the alley of the 3300 block of Panama Street.

28-year-old Aloysius Asberry, 18-year-old Gary Asberry, 29-year-old Peter Collins, and 45-year old Mary Graham have been charged with murder, attempted murder, participation in a criminal street gang, and conspiracy.

Collins was also charged for a parole violation. Graham was arrested for being an accessory after the fact.

All four suspects were transported to the Kern County Jail where they were booked.
