LAKE ISABELLA, Calif. - Several small earthquakes struck in Lake Isabella.
A 3.1 magnitude earthquake struck the town at about 7:45 a.m. Wednesday.
Since then, there have been at least four aftershocks throughout the day.
They all struck about six miles below the surface, but they weren't big enough to cause any damage to the Lake Isabella dam, which has been a main concern for the Army Corp. of engineers.
They have been highlighting the threat to that dam for years and have already begun a massive construction project to repair it.
