January marks the 40th anniversary of the Landmark Supreme Court Case Roe v. Wade.
Pro Life protestors lined the streets of Bakersfield today.
The non-profit group Right to Life of Kern County participated in a the peaceful protests and one participant said that more than 450 pro-lifers turned out to take part in the protests throughout the city.
There were other marches and protests throughout the country as well.
