5-year-old Bakersfield boy fights heart disease

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Cardiovascular diseases and stroke is not only considered the number one cause of death in our nation, but as well as here in Kern County.
Brayden is a Bakersfield 5-year-old fighting heart disease. His condition changes daily, and he has frequent trips to the Emergency Room.
On Saturday, The American Heart Association Kern County in partnership with Bakersfield Heart Hospital and Buena Vista EMS are honoring Brayden at the Heart and Stroke Walk. They will be dedicating the Kids Zone "Brayden's Kids Cove."
The walk is happening at CSU Bakersfield. The dedication ceremony is at 7:30 a.m. The 5k run starts at 8:00 a.m.
The two miles walk starts at 9:30 a.m.
