500 underprivileged kids served lunch, receive Santa visit

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - A lunch is being served for about 500 underprivileged kids on Wednesday.

The Elks Lodge #266 will be serving the kids hot dogs, ice cream, and chips for lunch.  Followed by a gift delivery from Santa Clause, along with a fruit bag.

The Elks have been hosting this lunch for about 100 years with the donations from members, local businesses.

The lunch will start at 11:15 at the Lodge, located at 1616 30th Street.
