BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Police are searching for two men accused of stabbing a 60-year-old man at a Bakersfield convenience store.

At about 8:40 p.m. Sunday, deputies were sent to the Gill Mart located in the 300 block of Bernard St. regarding a robbery that had just occurred at the business. 

Deputies arrived and and said they found a 60-year-old man who was an employee of the business suffering from stab wounds to his body. 

The man was taken to a local area hospital and his injuries are considered not-life threatening, officials said. 

The investigation revealed the man was working at the business when 2 people came into the store and one of them pulled out a gun and attempted to rob the store

During the robbery, officials said the man was stabbed

The 2 men then left.

Officials said they don't know if anything was taken from the store.

The first man was described as white or Hispanic wearing a mask dressed in all black clothing armed with an unknown type firearm. 

The second man was described as Black, wearing wearing a red ski mask dressed in all black clothing.  The investigation is ongoing.
