BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - 7th Standard Road near Bussell Road will be under long term closure after a fatal crash Thursday morning.
On Feb. 14, at about 7 a.m., the California Highway Patrol said went to 7th Standard Road regarding a crash involving a semi truck and pick-up.
According to the CHP, a total of three vehicles were in the crash.
CHP said one person, later identified as 35-year-old Roy David Grijalva, Jr., died at the scene of the accident and another is suffering minor injuries.
Officials said traffic is being diverted westbound on Poplar and eastbound on Scraoni.
This case is still under investigation.
