BAKERSFIELD, Calif. -
The Boy Scouts of America Southern Sierra Council held a unique fundraiser event on Saturday, Oct. 27.
80 donors were allowed to rappel down the tallest building in Bakersfield, contingent on raising a minimum of $1,000.
All proceeds benefited the values-based, character education and leadership programs of the Boy Scouts of America.
