OILDALE, Calif. -
A juvenile was found with a stab wound and other injuries, after being attacked by several others in Oildale Saturday night, according to officials.
On Nov. 24, at about 7:50 p.m., deputies went to the 400 block of Washington Avenue regarding a victim of a stabbing.
When they arrived, officials said they found a 17-year-old male victim of a stabbing and assault.
The victim said he was walking in the area of North Chester Avenue and Washington Avenue when he was approached by about a dozen white male juveniles between the ages of 16 to 20 years of age.
The suspects attempted to start an argument with the victim. Eventually one of the suspects attacked the victim and a fight ensued.
During the fight a second suspect from the group stabbed the victim in his upper left arm.
The victim fell to the ground and several members from the group began to hit and kick the victim.
The suspects fled in numerous directions.
The victim was transported to Kern Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
The armed suspect is described as a White male about 16 to 20 years of age. The suspect is about 5 feet 10 inches tall, 165 pounds with long brown hair. He was last seen wearing a red bandana, black baseball cap, black sweater and shorts. The suspect is still armed.
The investigation is currently ongoing.
