Airplane traveling from Bakersfield to Gillette found after missing for a week

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The airplane that went missing during a trip from Bakersfield to Gillette, Wyoming was found Sunday, Dec. 2.

The Utah Wing Civil Air Patrol has been searching for the overdue airplane since being notified on Monday, Nov. 26.

Officials said that all three passengers were found dead.

With information provided by Civil Air Patrol the Utah Department of Public Safety helicopter and the sheriffs offices in Millard and Sevier County have found the missing airplane.  

The missing airplane departed Bakersfield bound for Gillette Wyoming on Sunday, Nov. 25.
