All charges against local corrections officer accused of abusing his girlfriend have been dropped

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. -  

All Charges against a local corrections officer accused of kidnapping, terrorizing and abusing his live in girlfriend have been dropped. 
 
Alfred Hernandez was facing three felony charges but all were dropped when his former girlfriend Sarah Delgado withdrew her previous statement.
 
She previously told 23ABC that he choked her until she passed out after an argument. 
 
Hernandez, a correction officer at Corcoran State Prison remains on paid administrative leave. 
 
Although criminal charges were dropped, his department is still conducting an investigation into the allegations.
