BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Food and wine pairings from four of Bakersfield's restaurants were featured at the annual fundraising effort, "Bakersfield Uncorked" on Saturday.

The four restaurants were the Steak Grape Restaurant, Frugatti's, Cafe Med, and Luigi's.

There was also a wine and beer tasting, food, a Sports Zone featuring USC vs. UCLA, and live and silent auctions.

The money raised at Wine Fest is used to fund projects throughout Bakersfield, including Junior League's current project, GAP--the Girls' Achievement Project, where they work with foster girls to prepare them for emancipation.

Wine Fest was at the Kern County Fairgrounds at 1142 South 'P' Street from 7:00 to 11:00 p.m.
