Anthony Searles-Harris in court to face new felony charges

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - An Oildale man accused of luring underage girls to his house to have sex with them is facing new charges.

Anthony Searles-Harris was in court Friday afternoon to be arraigned in the latest case against him. He is charged with four more sex charges and two other felony charges.

Kern County’s Deputy District Attorney Michelle Domino told 23 ABC they are not releasing more information because the case is pending.

Searles-Harris was first arrested in October 2012. Kern County Sheriff’s Deputies said Searles-Harris was throwing parties for underage girls at his home on Oildale Drive.

A 13 and 17-year-old victim told deputies Searles-Harris gave them pills and booze and then had sex with them.

The victims also told deputies Searles-Harris forced them to have sex with another man and that man paid Searles-Harris.

23ABC did try reaching out a family member of Searles-Harris, but he chose not to comment on the case.

Searles-Harris is being held on more than $140,000 bail and is expected to be back in court on August 8th.
