Trucking company backs out of shipment to Oklahoma

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - What started out as a labor of love is going from bad to worse for one Army veteran trying to help victims of the tornados in Oklahoma.
For weeks retired Army veteran Justin Davis collected items to help families rebuild after they lost everything in the tornadoes last month.
He's just learned that the trucking company that volunteered to take the goods to Oklahoma has backed out and to make matters worse the landlord to the storage space said he has to clear out the office because a new tenant is coming in.
Davis said worst case scenario he's going to have to load up and make the 12-hundred mile drive himself, but he's hoping it won't get to that point and is asking for the public's help.
He's hoping that someone headed that way or someone who has a trucking company will donate their services to help the victims.
