Arrest made for hit and run accident on Coffee Road

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Bakersfield Police Dept. have made an arrest in connection with the Hit and Run accident that occurred on Monday, Sept. 17, on Coffee Road.
53-year-old Marie Carmen Contreras was transported to the Kern County Jail where she was booked for Hit and Run resulting in injury and concealing evidence.
The victim in this case sustained severe injuries, but they are not considered life threatening.
