TAFT, Calif. - Assemblywoman Shannon Grove (R-Bakersfield) released the following statement in response to the news of a shooting at Taft Union High School:
“Tragedies like this remind us of the value of every single human life. I commend the quick thinking of the faculty and compassion of the first responders, and my thoughts and prayers are with the students and families of Taft Union High School.”
Shannon Grove represents the Kern County communities of Bakersfield, Ridgecrest, Tehachapi, Taft and Frazier Park/Lebec.
