BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The Pediatric Heart Center is holding a baby and child expo to educate parents on everything from after school programs to dental care, Saturday morning.
The expo is being held at the Rabobank Convention Center, 1001 Truxtun Ave, and begins at 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. Admission is free.
Parents can expect break out seminars through out the day that will touch on on topics, such as, breast feeding and emergency preparedness.
The Kern County Sheriff's Office will also be finger printing children along with handing out child ID's.
San Joaquin Community Hospital will host their free immunization clinic. You must be under the age of 18, have no health insurance, eligible for Medical and the Child Health Disability Program, American Indian or Native
Alaskan to be eligible to receive a vaccination.
