BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - A local organization said they're desperate for used towels.

The Bakersfield SPCA, which takes in thousands of homeless animals each year, said they're running extremely low on hand and bath towels.

The towels are used for many reasons such as cleaning cages, cleaning the animals, and of course keeping them warm.

If residents have any towels that they no longer need, drop-offs can be made at 3000 Gibson Street.
