BAKERSFIELD, Cailf. - A 77-year-old man lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a Bakersfield woman’s vehicle in Oklahoma.

The crash happened at about 10 a.m. on Nov. 28 near southwest 52nd Street and Malcom Road, just south of Lee Boulevard.

Lawton police said 31-year-old Jennifer Gadberry-Williams of Bakersfield, Calif., was driving north on 52nd when she was broadsided by 77-year-old Kenneth Porter , who was driving west through the field.

Kern High School officials said that Gadberry-Williams graduated from Stockdale High School in 1999.

The two cars flipped several times before landing in a field east of 52nd street.

Police said they don't know why Porter was driving through the field, where he came from or where he was going. But an eyewitness said Porter was traveling very fast, and it appeared that he did not even see the other vehicle.
