The Bakersfield Blaze is on a mission to catch three individuals who broke into their facilities on Sunday.

The organization took to Twitter Tuesday morning posting pictures from surveillance video with the caption, “Meanwhile, in less fun news we got broken into over the weekend. Help us find these jerks.”

The tweet was retweeted 24 times within two hours of posting.

On Facebook, a similar post gained traction with more than 650 shares in an hours.

The Bakersfield Police Department said it appeared the organization took all the right steps to protect the facility from being vandalized, but it still happened.

“They do have them on surveillance so we’re in the process of trying to identify these suspects and hopefully make an arrest,” said Sgt. Gary Carruesco.

Chris Henstra, Director of food and beverage operations for the Bakersfield Blaze, said the three young men in the video didn't steal anything, but did do some minor damage to the property.

"In the overall scheme of things, very minor things, but just the annoyance and just the -- don’t do the wrong things people. You it’s just, it’s just frustrating you know?" said Henstra.

Henstra said he was impressed that the Bakersfield community was so supportive in spreading the pictures and video.

"The community is so rallied around this whole thing to get these people and just send a message that you don’t do wrong and you don’t do wrong in our community," said Henstra.

Sgt. Carruesco said the investigation is ongoing and so far no arrests have been made.
