BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The Bakersfield Blaze is hosting a Strike Out Stroke event Wednesday night.
The event will have education, awareness and health screenings followed by the Blaze game.
Half of the ticket sales will go towards the American Heart Association and the American Stroke Assocation, with the mission of fighting heart disease and stroke in Kern County.
Gates for the event open at 7 p.m. and the game will start at 7:30 p.m.
