BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - A man was taken to the hospital after his truck was run off the highway Monday morning.
On April 8, at about 10:30 a.m., officers with the California Highway Patrol went to the the intersection of Hwy 178 and O Street regarding a truck that had ran off the highway.
A CHP officer said the driver reportedly lost control of the truck, spun, and went down the highway embankment.
The official said the driver of the truck was suffering from minor neck pains and was taken to the hospital.
At this time, if is not known if weather was a factor of the accident. Officials said traffic on 178 is running as normal and no other vehicles were involved.
