The Bakersfield Heart Hospital was recognized as one of the 'Best Hospitals for Patient Experience in Heart Care'.

Bakersfield received the national attention as part of a broader awareness spotlighting healthcare choices for women.

The hospital opened the women's heart center this month to provide early detection through education and screenings.

The program is just one of 50 nationwide.
