Bakersfield home engulfed in flames, smoke near Kentucky, King Streets

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - A Bakersfield home was engulfed in flames and smoke this morning.

On May 7, at about 9 a.m., officers with the Bakersfield Fire Department went to a home near Kentucky and King Streets regarding a house fire.

When fire crews arrived they found a home engulfed in flames. Officials said a naked man was caught running out of the house. A neighbor saw him, tripped him, and the man was arrested.

Fire crews immediately begun putting the fire. According to reports, the house is believed to be an abandoned home.
