BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The Bakersfield Jazz Singers are a group made up of six vocalists, a percussionist and a musical director.
The group held a free concert at the Beale Memorial Library last weekend.
Terry Cano, the Music Director and Founder of the Bakersfield Jazz Singers, says he just wants to keep jazz alive in the community.
"I love vocal arranging, I love jazz, that's what I'm known for around town and in L.A. And these guys are wonderful," said Cano.
The group plans to hold more concerts throughout the year.
