Bakersfield man accused of posing as talent scout arrested in Las Vegas

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - A Bakersfield man who allegedly posed as a talent scout and used the internet to make contact with female victims searching for employment was arrested in Las Vegas on Monday.

On Feb. 4, Bakersfield police officials said Anthony Augustus Jefferson was arrested by Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department for the arrest warrant issued by the Kern County District Attorney's Office.

According to the Las Vegas police, Jefferson was booked into the City of Las Vegas Detention Center.

The BPD was searching for Jefferson since September 2012.
