Bakersfield man accused of sexual assault found, arrested in Arizona

Suspect on supervision after AB-109 passed

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - A Bakersfield man who was accused of sexual assault, home invasion robbery and burglary was found and arrested in another state on Wednesday.

On Feb. 13, officials with the Bakersfield Police Department said Duree Anthony Beard was found and arrested in Arizona for a warrant obtained through the Kern County District Attorney's Office.

According to police reports, on Jan. 17, Beard entered a house on Glen Oaks Drive and sexually assaulted a woman.  Police said Beard then took items of value and fled from the house.
