Bakersfield man arrested after deputies find drugs in car, convenience store
Officers: Bags contained suspected meth, cocaine

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - A man was arrested after deputies said they found a plastic grocery bag with several drugs inside his car.
On Feb. 21, at about 8:30 p.m., deputies from the Sheriff's Office Gang Suppression Section contacted 36-year-old Cheson Cosme at a convenience store on North Chester Avenue.
Deputies said they searched the vehicle he was in and found a plastic grocery bag where he had been sitting. Inside the plastic grocery bag, deputies said they found methamphetamine, cocaine and paraphernalia consistent with the sales of drugs.
Deputies said they also searched inside the convenience store where Cosme had walked into before the deputies contacted him and found another baggie of suspected meth.
Cosme was arrested for possession of cocaine, possession of cocaine for sale, possession of methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine for sale and a violation of the electronic monitoring program, according to police.
