BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - A man has died after a late-night shooting in Oildale, the Kern County Sheriff's Office said.
The KCSO said 44-year-old Keith Hurst from Bakersfield was involved in an altercation in the 700 block of Woodrow Avenue near Sequoia Drive just before 11 o'clock last night.
When deputies arrived at the scene, they found Hurst suffering from gunshot wounds. He was taken to Kern Medical Center, where he later died from his injuries.
