Bakersfield man, Leo Johnson, found dead with multiple gunshot wounds

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - A victim was found dead with multiple gunshot wounds Friday night.  

On Friday, Nov. 23, at about 6:45 p.m., officers of the Bakersfield Police Department went to a family disturbance at 1701 Lotus Lane.  

Upon arrival officers found 31-year-old Leo Johnson in the driveway of a house as a victim of gunshots.

Johnson was pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel.

Officers identified the suspect as Darren Lewis, a 24-year-old male of Bakersfield, who was arrested and booked into the Kern County Jail for murder and felon in possession of a firearm.
