Bakersfield man hit, killed by car near Manor Street, West Day Avenue positively identified

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - A man that was struck by a vehicle and killed this weekend has been identified.

On Sunday, July 14, at about 4:30 p.m., officers with the California Highway Patrol went to Manor Street, just a half mile north of West Day Avenue, in Bakersfield, regarding a man that had been hit by a vehicle.

When officers arrived the pronounced the victim, 66-year-old Bryan Cosme, dead as a result of his injuries.

It is unsure at this time if there is crosswalks at the mentioned location.
