BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - A suspect remains on the loose after he snuck into the window of a southwest Bakersfield home, while the female homeowner was in the shower on Wednesday night.
Shortly after 9 p.m., in the 1600 block of South Half Moon Street, the man entered the premises of the woman's house.
Authorities say the woman was getting out of the shower, when she saw the man in her house.
She grabbed a bat to defend herself and the suspect fled.
Police are looking for a man in his 30s, carrying a bag. Anyone with information is urged to contact the BPD.
