BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Bakersfield Mayor Harvey Hall has posted on his Facebook account that he has taken a fall and was taken to a hospital.
At about 9 a.m. Thursday, a page created in Hall's name announced that the mayor had taken a fall.
According to a spokesperson for Mayor Hall, he suffered a fractured hip and had a successful surgery Thursday.
