Bakersfield middle school hosts bullying seminar for parents

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - A local middle school is hoping to put a stop to bullying by inviting parents to take part in a free seminar to talk about the issue Thursday night.
The free seminar is being held at Curran Middle School.
School officials said it's in response to the current epidemic of bullying on campus and online.
There will be special guest speakers on hand to talk about what warning signs to look for.
The seminar will be held in the school's cafeteria beginning at 6 p.m.
