BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - A man is dead after his motorcycle crashed into a pick-up truck on Tuesday afternoon.
On Feb. 5, at about 3 p.m., the California Highway Patrol said they went to SR-178, just east of Lower Richbar regarding a car crash.
Officials said that they discovered that 64-year-old Johnny Richard Rankin's motorcycle collided head-on with a pick-up truck.
The CHP said Rankin was air lifted to Kern Medical Center where he died from his injuries.
