Bakersfield police begin search for man who touched girl

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the community's assistance in finding a suspect who approached a juvenile and touched her.

On May 8, at about 8:30 a.m., a girl was walking westbound in the 1300 block of Lake Street when she was reportedly approached by a stranger.

According to the girl, the suspect inappropriately touched her for about five second then fled on foot.

According to officials, the man was described as a black man in his early 20s.  He is said to have short dyed blond hair, a thin mustache and goatee.  He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, black and yellow striped sweater and brown Dickie pants.
