Bakersfield police: Man stole cell phone out of unlocked car at gas station

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The Bakersfield Police Department is seeking the community’s assistance in identifying and locating an suspect.

On Dec. 2 between 6 a.m. and 6:20 a.m. the suspect entered the victim’s unlocked vehicle while it was parked at the Circle K, 1030 Oak Street, and stole the victim’s cell phone, officials said.

The suspect is described as a white man, 20-30 years old, 6-feet tall, weighing 170 pounds, with a slim build, short light brown hair and acne scarring on his face.

At the time of the incident her was wearing a white track-style jacket, white shorts and white shoes.
