Bakersfield Police: Man wanted for stealing from Walgreens twice

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The Bakersfield Police Department is requesting the community's assistance in identifying a suspect wanted for burglary and petty theft.

On March 22, and April 28, the suspect reportedly entered the Walgreens on Chester Avenue, grabbed merchandise, and fled the store on a bicycle without producing payment.

The suspect is described as a black man.  He was last seen wearing a black beanie and red jacket. During the second offense, he was seen wearing a Laker's team jersey. The suspect has a tattoo under his left eye of either a star or the number '6'.

Anyone with information regarding this incident is urged to call the BPD at 327-7111.
