Bakersfield Police: Woman steals, attacks CVS employee

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - A woman is wanted for allegedly stealing from a CVS pharmacy, according to police.
The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the community's assistance in identifying a suspect wanted for robbery and assault with a deadly weapon.
On March 6, at about 4:30 p.m., police said a suspect entered the CVS pharmacy on Coffee Road, selected merchandise and fled the store without producing payment.
A store employee confronted the suspect in the parking lot, and the suspect then allegedly assaulted the employee.
As the victim walked back towards the store, the suspect drove her vehicle at the victim. The suspect struck the victim with her vehicle, causing injury to the victim.
The suspect then reportedly fled the scene.
The suspect is described as a white woman in her mid-40s. She is about 5-foot-8 to 5-foot-10, with long brown hair.
